Obituary of Nancy Rogers
CAMDEN – Graveside service for Nancy Williams Rogers will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Quaker Cemetery. The Rev. William Smith will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County, 810 Lyttleton St, Camden, SC 29020.
Mrs. Rogers, wife of the late Harry Rogers, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021. Born in Augusta, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Marion Dedrick Williams and Louise Harmon Williams. She was an artist and was a member of the Camden Art Association and the Fine Arts Center of Kershaw County. She enjoyed cooking, square dancing, and genealogy. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her son, Randolph Roddenberry Jr. (Maria) of Savannah, Ga.; daughters, Louise Roddenberry Lund of Hilton Head, S.C., Joyce Rogers (William Kaputa) of Camden and Marguerite Rogers (Doug Holmgren) of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Sarah Roddenberry Downey, Randolph Roddenberry III, Mark Lund, Hannah Lund, Iris Kaputa, Erik Holmgren, Ethan Holmgren, and Sylvia Holmgren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband, Randolph Franklin Roddenberry; and a brother, Robert Williams.
