Obituary of Molly Williams

CAMDEN – A public service to celebrate the life of Molly Montgomery Williams, 71, will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at her residence, 1837 Marsh Hawk Road, Camden, S.C. 

    Mrs. Williams passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.  Born in Woodruff, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert Russell and Carolina Workman Montgomery. She enjoyed trips to the Dollar General with her grandson, Campbell.  She also enjoyed tennis, gardening, baking, and being a “nanny”  to her beloved grandchildren.

     Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Samuel Sherrill Williams; daughters, Cristy Goodwien (Justin) of Lexington and Carrie Denton of Camden; and grandchildren, Logan Denton, Caleigh Denton, Campbell Denton, Carsen Goodwien, Lynsey Goodwien, Sam Goodwien, and Luke Goodwien. In addition to her parents, Molly was predeceased by her brother, Robert Russell “Rock” Montgomery.
