I was so very sorry to learn of Bobbe's death; I had been thinking of her and came upon her obituary by chance when looking for her website. Bobbe was so helpful to me and to Sue Paling at the Sai Sanctuary for Donkeys in County Sligo last spring, when I was researching possible eye protection for a young donkey there who had surgery near her eye and was needing the eye and surgical area free of summer insects. Bobbe worked with Sue on fitting, and with me on shipping the Medi-Lens over. I recall that Bobbe was having significant issues with pain, but despite that she made sure that we got what we needed. I've attached a photo of me and Daphne, the donkey for whom Bobbe's Medi-Lens was so perfect in Daphne's healing process. Boobe and I had several lovely phone conversations about beautiful Kennett Square, where she grew up and where I had stayed many times when conducting business in Philly. And of course, we talked about horses! My condolences to Bobbe's friends and family; I will make a contribution to the Sai Sanctuary in her memory when I go back to Ireland in May.

I am devastated to learn of Bobbe's death. She and I were very good, and very old time friends. We had kept in close touch over the years, after she left for SC. We had many, many wonderful memories with her Dad, Angelo Bertrando, and horses at Bobbe's farm on Hillendale Road. Many nights we sat in Bobbe's kitchen with Angelo, telling horse stories, and laughing. Very hard to lose Bobbe. She was a wonderful, and caring Horsewoman. Will miss her greatly. Bobbe was so very kind, warm, and inviting to everyone she met. Even if she only met you briefly Bobbe remembered your name. Bobbe truly loved horses. She would help folks on Facebook with eye issues free of charge. Bobbe will truly be missed.
