Obituary of Ruben Macias

BLYTHEWOOD – Funeral Mass for Ruben Macias, 39, will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church. Father Sandy McDonald will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12pm – 2pm at Powers Funeral Home.

    Mr. Macias passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the son of Ruben Macias and Estela Aguayo. Ruben was a family man who enjoyed working on classic cars and was an avid Atlanta sports fan.

   Surviving in addition to his parents is his companion, Amalia Garcia; children, Ruben Mateo Macias-Garcia, Luna Alexis Macias-Garcia, Roberto Mendez-Garcia, and Misael Mendez-Garcia; brother, Christian Macias and sister-in-law, Dulce Macias.
