I am saddened to hear that my Aunt Margaret had passed. She was the sweetest, most loving person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. We would go down to see her, Uncle Clarence and their children and grandchildren. We didn’t get together as we got older; however I would stop in Camden to see her when I was going to Kershaw to stay with my dad, Don Hall, for the weekend. She was a great cook and always had some kind of cake made. We loved her chocolate cake!! She would go to Kershaw to see my daddy sometimes and she took him some kind of cake. She always had beautiful flowers in her yard. And when she called one of her children to come help her, they were always there in no time.
To see the love between her and Uncle Clarence and her family was beautiful. It was the kind of family you would want to be a part of. God works in so many ways. I was just thinking at the first of the week to call her only to hear that she had passed. I will miss her and my visits with her.
I am also sad that I did not get to go to her funeral. I did not hear about her funeral in enough time to make plans with my job. I will be praying for you all.
Love, Christy Hall Broughton

That was beautifully said Christy. I also remember staying the weekend with them during summer. Aunt Margaret and Uncle Clarence raised a beautiful family and I know Aunt Margaret was so proud of her children. I am so sorry I couldn't attend the funeral for Aunt Margaret because my husband is sick and is taking treatment every day. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. With love, Myra Hall Grau

Great Aunt Margaret was truly one of a kind . She and my grandfather were brother and sister . Great Aunt Margaret always had unconditional love for her family whether it was her immediate family or her nieces , nephews or even their children and grandchildren. Great Aunt Margaret never failed to show kindness to her family and friends. I am so grateful for the countless visits and phone conversations over the years .I am thankful for the car rides to look at Christmas lights that she and I would do . I am so thankful for all the stories that she shared of growing up and raising her family. I loved my Great Aunt Margaret . I would always tell her that she was the tie that held the entire Brown family together. I will truly miss my Great Aunt Margaret .Great Aunt Margaret was loved by so many people . I will truly miss the Saturday visits to her house that my granddaughter , Stella and I would make . No matter what she had going on , Great Aunt Margaret always put others before herself. My heart breaks that I won’t be able to call her or stop by for a visit . Great Aunt Margaret was class and southern Grace that is not easily found . Heaven has gained an angel . Great Aunt Margaret will be missed by so many . I am so thankful that I can say I had the privilege of having a wonderful Great Aunt Margaret . I am sending love and prayers to all who loved her and who will miss her . I will miss her so much .

Miss Linda and Family,
My Mama (Margaret Sowell) and your Mother were long time friends. She spoke of your Mother so often, and loved her very much!
Thank you for providing so many meals for Mama in the last years of her life. You are sorely missed.
Blessings to you and your family during this difficult time.

Margaret was one of those people who brightened your day every time you saw her. Always smiling, laughing and never aged. Just a beautiful spirit and surely a real Southern lady.

Aunt Margaret will be greatly missed. She has been like a second mother to me, since my Mom passed. I will miss our phone calls every week. She told me many times how blessed she was to have such wonderful children, that looked out for her and kept her home beautifully decorated. Her Sticky Chocolate cakes and watermelon preserves were my favorite. I will never forget the beautiful wedding cake she gifted me. You never left her house without her sharing her homemade goodies with you. She was a beautiful and Godly woman. There is a hole in my heart now, without Aunt Margaret.

Ms. Margaret and I have only known one another a little over 2 years oh but what a delight. She was funny, loving, caring but very big hearted. The joy of her life was her family. I enjoyed sitting with her telling me stories, sharing a hamburger or a recipe. I am truly proud to say Ms Margaret was a friend whom I will truly miss. To the family, know I am here if needed.
