Obituary of Frank E. Williams

CAMDEN – A service to celebrate the life of Frank Edward Williams, 71, will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Cedar Cemetery.  A public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

    Mr. Williams passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 surrounded by his family.  Born in Camden, he was the son of the late Frank Williams Jr. and Laura Burroughs Williams.  He retired from the Cotton Mill and enjoyed working on old cars.

    Surviving are his daughter, Shawanda Williams; brothers, Donald Dais (Alice), Marvin Randolph Williams (Roslyn), Tom Christopher Williams (Tina), Calvin Williams (Carolyn) and Kenneth Williams (Myrica); sister, Priscilla Ann Drakeford (Charles); and 2 grandchildren, Olivia Ricks and Dreshawn Jones.  He was predeceased by brothers, Charlie Williams, Johnny Williams and Freddie Williams.
