I hadn't seen Martha in several years, till last October when she came up here to Greenville to my own mom's homegoing. And we struck up a conversation like we hadn't missed a beat in all those years. I'm Cecilia's brother-in-law, Wayne's brother, but even with that sort of connection, it was the way of Martha Wyrick to always express the spirit of kinship. Once felt and established with a person, it never lapsed. It is such a spirit then that all of us need more to be blessed by and to blessed with. Let the recollections of Martha be and example and standard for us all then.

Martha always had the brightest smile and laugh! I am so glad God let our paths cross at BCBS! Martha, Susan and Mariah have always had a special place in my heart! I can only imagine the rejoicing she had with her mama and other family members when she entered heavens gates. I can just see her and Teresa sharing a laugh! Love yall!
