ELGIN - Funeral service for Jimmy Robinson, 91, will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Matthews Baptist Church, Lugoff, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Robinson died Friday, February 1, 2008. Born in Lugoff, he was a son of the late Tom and Mahalie Knox Robinson. Surviving are his wife, Pearline Robinson; children, Joseph Robinson, Douglas Robinson, Clarence Williams, Christine Williams, Russell Robinson, Shirley Robinson Hunter, and Dennis Robinson; siblings, Mary Fleming, David Robinson, Joseph Robinson, and Estell Murphy; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous great great-grandchildren.
