Obituary of Amos Anthony Wymer

ELGIN – Services for Amos Anthony Wymer, 67, will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Carolina Oncology Associate Foundation.

    Mr. Wymer passed away at Prisma Health Baptist on Thursday, February 10, 2022.  Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Gene and Verlie Marsh Wymer.  He was retired from cabinet making.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, arts, crafts and spending time with his grandchildren.  He loved his family dearly and enjoyed going to the beach with them and searching for shark teeth.

    Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Sandra Miller Wymer; daughters, Kimberlee Lynn Wilson (Matt) of Lewisburg, Tenn., Nikki Wymer Martin (Michael) of Elgin and Amy Wymer Nguyen (Mike) of Elgin; brother, Jerry Wymer; sisters, B.J. Williams and Violet Casillas; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a grandson, Matthew Tyler Wilson; brothers, Ned Wymer, Walter Wymer, Albert Wymer and Jimmy Wymer; and sisters, Margaret Davis and Judy Wymer.
