BISHOPVILLE – A celebration of life service for Roy Kentworth Tartt, 82, will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Worship Center. The Rev. Casey Mills and the Rev. Raymond Sellers will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Bethel Worship Center, P.O. Box 581, Camden, S.C. 29021. Mr. Tartt passed away March 2, 2014. Born in Wilmington, N.C., he was a son of the late Percy and Bessie Tartt, Sr. Mr. Tartt was a member of Bethel Worship Center. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Korean War veteran. He retired from Eastern Airline after 31 years and enjoyed golfing and fishing. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Shirley Thomas Tartt; sons, Eugene Lee Tartt, Steven Andrew Tartt; brothers, Charles Tartt, Danny Tartt; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. He was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Crosby; granddaughter, Holly Crosby; sister, Dorothy Greene; and brothers, Wesley Tartt, Floyd Tartt, and Percy Tartt, Jr.
