Obituary of Karen Anderson Miller

Karen Anderson Miller, 55, of Elgin, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Bobby Anderson and Barbara Ann Cranford, the step-daughter of the late William “Pete” Cranford, and the wife of Mark Louis Miller. Karen worked alongside her husband at the Blythewood IGA for 13 years. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, coloring, playing games on her phone, and taking trips to the beach. Above all, Karen loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings for holidays, especially Christmas and Easter.

In addition to her husband, Karen is survived by her children, Michael Brian Miller, Katie Miller Crawford, and Brian James Ray (Kimberly Twitty); grandchildren, Mack Miller, Luke Miller, George Miller, Ella Pharr, River Crawford, Scarlett Chavis, and Cora Ray; and her brother, George Gregory Anderson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Kenny Anderson, Cindy Frye, Robert Anderson, Michael “Bunk” Anderson, and Catherine Anderson.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:00pm on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Powers Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Quaker Cemetery, Camden, SC.
