I am so, so sorry for your loss. I can not imagine losing my wife or my dad when I was a teen. Once again I am so sorry. As for Gordon, I have so many great memories where would I begin? From meeting Gordon at Spring Valley, eating lunch in the truck while listening to Paul Harvey, the Capitol City youth rallies, Atlanta -fireworks on BUA dorm roof, the Army stories, and beyond. Gordon was a true friend. He was the type of friend that no matter how long it was between being together you could pick right up where you left off. As the Bible says “iron sharpens iron” and I can truly say this is what Gordon did for me. I pray that you both Nicholas and Noah will be such a friend to just one person. Tara, someone once said “You can not know the mind of God but you can sure trust His character” During this time we will not have the answers to our questions or what the future may hold but Tara we can trust our Faithful God! Because we as believers have hope we will see Gordon GRR22 again!

Tara and Family Please accept my condolences Gordon was a great guy. I worked with Him at RCSO. One of my favorite memories of y’all is when y’all were building your house I had to ride with him on duty due to the snow of 2002. We rode out to the home site that shift and had a great talk. I am devastated and in complete awe. Gordon is my best friend and has been for over 40 years. We've seen the good and bad the world has to offer. However, we only saw the best in each other. The angels are singing and heaven is a better place just by his meer presence. I will miss him until we meet again. I know his hand, along side God's, will look after everyone to aid our moving forward. I have cried rivers since I was notified of his circumstances as with his passing. But, they are tears of joy and happiness knowing my friend is without pain and suffering. Hey Ross Family, one memory I have. Moma had Cancer and Gordon took me on a road trip before My Mother Passed ,It was the Best Help for a 21 year old. He was A GREAT FRIEND to me. a First memory was when Gordon was going to visit and he had a Datsun pickup. and was really late, even for Gordon, Turns out he Rolled that little truck on his way over.
