Obituary of Lonte Terrell "L.J." Borges, Jr.

BISHOPVILLE – A service to celebrate the life of Lonte Terrell “L.J.” Borges, Jr., will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Cedar Cemetery, Camden.

    Mr. Borges died on Thursday, April 28, 2022.  Born in Bridgeport, Conn., he was the son of Lonte Terrell Borges, Sr. and Tomeka Dunbar Borges.  He was a 2019 graduate of Camden High School and employed with Target Distribution Center in Lugoff.  He enjoyed music and playing video games and was a member of a car club.

    Surviving are his mother, Tomeka Borges of Bishopville; father, Lonte Borges, Sr. of Bridgeport, Conn.; siblings, Taylor Becca (Eddie), Khyree Borges (Duck), and Deandre Harper (Desiree); and grandfather, Anthony Borges.  He was predeceased by grandparents, Ophelia Phillips, Franklin Dunbar and Joann Pettway.
