Obituary of Lisa Watford Potteiger

CAMDEN – A memorial service for Lisa Watford Potteiger, 61, will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home.  The Rev. Dr. Bruce Watford, Sr. will officiate. Following the service, the family will receive friends at Crossway Church of God, Lugoff. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fostering Foster Animal Rescue, fosteringfoster.com.

    Lisa was the daughter of the late Rev. Lonnie and Colleen Watford. She passed away peacefully at her home on May 7, 2022.  Lisa was deeply devoted to God and her family. She was very well known for her kind heart, generous soul, and love of animals!

   She is survived by her husband, David Potteiger; daughter, Courtney Aday; grandchildren, Anthian “Ian” Aday and Alexandria Rayne Aday; sister, Sheryl Watford (Marcia White); brother, Rev. Dr. Bruce Watford, Sr. (Sheryl); sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Watford; nieces and nephews and their families, Danielle Watford, Christy Suggs (Kevin) and daughter, Grace Suggs, Michael Stanley Watford, Jr. (Ashley) and children, Alyssa and Brayden Watford, Tiffany Spinks (David) and children, Jesse, Robbie, and Tallie Ann Hunt, Dr. Bruce Watford, Jr. (Summer) and son, Creed Bruce “Little Bruce” Watford. She was predeceased by her brother, Rev. Dr. Michael S. Watford, Sr.
