ELGIN - Funeral service for Lorene Joyce Cooper, 76, will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeshore Church of God, Camden, with burial to follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Elgin. Memorials may be made to Lakeshore Church of God. Mrs. Cooper died Saturday, November 3, 2007. Born in Darlington, she was a daughter of the late Luther Miles and Leola Johnson. She was a member of Lakeshore Church of God. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Douglas Cooper, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Phil Noel of San Antonio, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Lesta Cooper of Lugoff; sister and brother-in-law, Jewell and Kenny Bunch of Bamberg; and grandchildren, Elyse Cooper of Lugoff, Philip Noel of Nashville, and Megan Noel of San Antonio, Texas.
