Obituary of Lorrie Anderson Lair

REMBERT – Funeral service for Lorrie Anderson Lair, 55, will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

    Ms. Lair passed away at home on Sunday, July 3, 2022.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of Dottie Williams Anderson and the late Lonnie Roland Anderson.  Lorrie had a smile that would light up any room and a laugh that traveled for many miles.  She enjoyed painting her dog Roxy’s nails while talking on the phone with her lifelong friends.  Lorrie loved her friends, family, and grandchildren very much.  She will be missed and loved for all eternity.

    Surviving is the love of her life, Denny Cobb; mother, Dottie Williams Anderson of Lugoff; son, Kyle Lair (Jennifer Craft) of Elgin; daughter, Lonnie Carpenter (Steven) of Elgin; step-son, Deacon Cobb; sisters, Tammie Johnson (Joe) and Robin Murray (Doug); brother, Ronnie Anderson (Terry); and grandchildren, Bentley Truell, Khloe Carpenter and Hollie Carpenter.
