Obituary of Carolyn Sue Miller

Carolyn Sue Miller, 78, wife of the late Jimmie L. Miller, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by family. A native from Florida, she was the daughter of the late Claude Allen Thomas and Ethel L. Crews. Mrs. Miller was an alumni of Hillsborough High School in Tampa, FL. class of 1962. She enjoyed reading and being outdoors.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Miller Bock (Randy) and Valerie S. Miller; son, Kenneth E. Miller Sr. (Cindy); sister, Louella Thomas Haagar and Geri Thomas Skipper; brother, Danny D. Thomas; grandchildren, Nathan Lee Dukes Sr. (Betty), Randall Bock Jr. (Heather), Ryan Bock (Brittany), Kenneth Miller Jr. (Amanda), and Kimberly Reed (Chris); and great-grandchildren, Randall Bock III, Charleston Bock, Savannah Bock, Landen Bock, Kylee Bock, Nathan Lee Dukes, Jr., Oliana Dukes and Noah Lee Dukes.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Billy Rodgers; daughter, Amanda Lee Rodgers; son, Billy Bradford Rodgers; brother, Claude Allen Thomas; and sister, Lavonne Thomas Bennett.

A funeral service will be held  Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Powers Funeral Home, with burial to follow Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.
