Obituary of Robert Lewis Rabon

Robert Lewis Rabon 72, of Elgin, departed from this world on Thursday, October 20. 2022 at his home and from natural causes. He was the son of the late George and Martha Rabon and the husband of the late Carolyn Rabon. Robert was an honorable mechanic by trade with a highly regarded reputation. With over 30+ years of experience at Lugoff Ford and a passion for cars and racing, he left his fingerprints all over automobiles and hearts throughout Kershaw County.

Most referred to him as uncle Robert because that's who he was. A tender soul with an unjudgemental heart and always a listening ear or helping hand. He enjoyed his life as a simple man would, playing old country music on his guitar and drinking his morning coffee on the front porch.

He is survived by his only son, Joseph Vosika; along with numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. In addition to his late wife, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 40+ years, Elizabeth Rabon. 

A celebration of life will be held on his birthday, Sunday Oct.30th ,12pm, at Robert's life-long home, 633 Watts Hill Road, Elgin, SC.
