Obituary of Aurelio Pizarro

COLUMBIA – A service to celebrate the life of Aurelio Pizarro Rivera, 81, will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, with burial to follow in Centerville Cemetery, Ridgeway. 

    Mr. Pizarro, husband of the late Miriam Rivera, passed away at home on Sunday, October 30, 2022.  Born in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Aurelio Pizarro and Celina Rivera.

    Surviving are his daughter, Ruth Pizarro; son, Aurelio Pizarro; sister, Sara Pizarro; 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by sister, Avida Pizarro; and brothers, Angel Pizarro and Elias Pizarro.
