Obituary of Judy Reynolds Gladden

ELGIN- A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Judy Marlene Reynolds Gladden, 80, will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Diabetes, Heart or Cancer Association.

    Mrs. Gladden, wife of the late Edward “Eddie” Gladden, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.  Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Douglas Roy and Geneva McManus Reynolds.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, cooking, playing the lottery and working at Food Lion to meet people.

    Surviving are her children, Edward Douglas Gladden Jr. (Victoria) of Jacksonville, Fla., Ginger Gladden Jones (Jerry) of Lancaster, S.C. and Harriet Barker (George) of Elgin, SC; siblings, Carree Dargo, Danny Reynolds (Billie), Karen Neal (Jimmy), Randy Reynolds (Tina), Alan Reynolds; grandchildren, Haleigh Rodrigues (Kevin), Megan Gladden, Hunter Gladden, Katie Jones, Haven Jones, Melinda Barker, Kayla Buff (Thomas); 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by siblings, Derrell Reynolds, Bobby Reynolds and Larry Reynolds. The family extends a special thank you to Janet Austin and JoAnne Marshall for all the love shown to our precious Judy.
