To the Mickle family,
I am deeply saddened to hear of Mr. Mickle passing. I am just seeing his obituary and was totally surprised. He was always so happy and took the time to speak.
to everyone he met. I can remember him as the principal at the old high school. And then working at the recycling center. He will be surely missed by all that knew him.
With our deepest sympathy
Kim and David Boisvert

Mr Mickle was one of the people that I have the upmost respect for. He was a great man and outstanding person. He told my daughter once that I was one of his favorite best worst student. We chuckled but he instilled alot in me during our friendship as principal/student to referee at kids games to just being my friend. I love you Mr Mickle. Tell all I said hi. I know mom will be there to greet you. She loved you as well. Until we meet again. ...but not bending over tha desk. Lol RIP

Mr. Mickle was the best principal that LE High school has ever had to date. He would listen to his students. He would help his students. He was very kind. He loved the students and would help them if they came from a broken home. He was a fair when one was in trouble. His name is on my diploma and I'm proud that it is his signature. Mr Mickle may be gone but he will live in the hearts of all his students that went to LE. He will always be loved by many. I will miss you but will never forget you.

Mr. Mickle was a wonderful man - He was so wonderful to my children - Darla - Ken - Nathan - Joshua ......They all loved and respected him .... I got lots of calls from him - while they were in school - Ha. - Everytime I saw him - he would ask me about them ... He truly loved his job and the children he watched grow up over the years ... He was so compassionate - and loving toward our children - He will always be remembered for his kind and understanding ways - His name will go down in the Kershaw County Schools as a ......."GREAT MAN" - !!! - a "GREAT LEADER" - he never changed - always so friendly and kind ... To his family, I pray that Heavenly Father will be with them - to comfort them during the days ahead - to his wife and his children, you will all be in my PRAYERS .... !!! To Willie - I would say ...... FLY WITH THE ANGELS - 'CAUSE you left a lot of "footprints" on our hearts - and "GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN" - WE ALL LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOUR PRESENCE ON THIS EARTH - !!! Mr. Mickle was a wonderful educator and a good friend while I attended school in 1976 - 1980. He knew how to connect with kids and always cared. I have so many great memories of him and just yesterday, was sharing them with my 12 year old granddaughter. So sad for his leaving of his family but heaven has gained an amazing angel.
