Obituary of Patricia Senn Renfroe
ELGIN – Memorial service for Patricia Senn Renfroe, 74, will be held at 1pm on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Powers Funeral home, Lugoff. Inurnment will follow the service at 3pm in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Renfroe passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. Born in Columbia, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Thomas Senn and Sarah Reynolds Senn. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where she was former director of the Kitchen. Mrs. Renfroe helped to establish a teen club in Elgin, S.C. in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. She was the first certified woman firefighter and rescue in Kershaw County. Mrs. Renfroe was a wrestling mom for the Lugoff-Elgin High School Wrestling Team and was also team mom for the freestyle Mat Rats wrestling club out of Camden, S.C. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Surviving is her husband, Lloyd Hayward Renfroe, Sr.; children, Beverly Elaine Campbell of South Carolina, Lloyd Hayward Renfroe, Jr. (Alissa Renfroe) of Kentucky, Candace Michelle Stroud (James Stroud) of South Carolina, Kenneth Paul Renfroe (Tonya Renfroe) of Florida, and Beverly Burns (Michael Corbett) of South Carolina; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara Gayle Bouknight (Donald Bouknight) of South Carolina. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, N. Phillip Campbell.
