Obituary of Charles Hughes Richbourg

Charles Hughes Richbourg, 70, of Camden, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. A native of Camden, SC, Charles was born to the late Frank M. and Ila Mae Thomas Richbourg and was the husband of Nancy McPherson Richbourg. Charles worked as a Weapons Technician for FN Manufacturing for 34 years. He had a passion for firearms and knives and spent time shooting, cleaning, sharpening, and maintaining them. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching old TV shows, and going to various gun shows around the state. Charles also loved vacationing in the mountains. Above all, he loved being at home spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife of 44 years, Charles is survived by his son, Brandon Kyle Richbourg (Rebecca) of Camden; his sister, Anne Brown (Ken) of Auburn, AL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

A Time of Gathering to celebrate Charles’s life will be held from 4-6pm on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.
