Jeanette, Gary, Heidi; and Brittany, There are no words to express our sympathy over your loss. Though our lives have taken us in different directions, the love we have for you will never fade.Our family will always consider you as "family". We will include you in our thoughts and prayers, praying that time will allow you to deal with your loss. His obituary was VERY uplifting. We also pray that he didn't suffer. He would never have wanted to leave you. He knew he was loved.....AND he loved you!! When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!!

Jeanette, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Rhett. I recall from many years ago,when he was just a youngster,the close bond and love you shared. I can only imagine your grief. Jeanette & Gary: Billy & I are so saddened by the loss of your son Rhett. We have fond memories of him growing up and will always remember you Jeanette, for taking Rhett and Brett to their beloved bike rallies from Charleston to Greenville. I lost touch with Rhett as an adult, but his beautiful obituary filled in the blanks for me. What a wonderful and devoted son he was to both of you. My condolences also to his beloved Brittany. Love to my Elliott family and Brittany. With Rhett being 9-10 years younger than me he was like in a second wave of cousins that I wasn't as close to, especially since we lived out of town. We mainly saw him on holidays. Then he moved away. Then the War Mouth opened here in town and we ( my sisters and I) ate there occasionally. Usually he was very busy but one time he was able to come out and visit with us on the patio for awhile. I will always be glad for that and that I got to see him in (one of) his element(s). Love you Rhett
