FLORENCE – Funeral service for Agnes Shirley Sinclair, 98, formerly of Camden, will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 11:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church1875 Antioch Road, Camden, S.C. 29020 or Liberty Baptist Church, 651 East Main Street, Timmonsville, S.C. 29161. Mrs. Sinclair, wife of the late Lawrence S. Sinclair, died Friday, May 2, 2014. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Foy Spayne and Jessie Moore Shirley. She retired from Skyline Manufacture and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she was the former church secretary. Surviving are her daughter, Faye S. Hester of Florence; sister, Frances Cameron of Camden; grandchildren, Melissa Hester Williamson, Kay Winters, Karen Wells, Melody Burns, Ray Sinclair, Robin Sinclair, Larry Sinclair, and Kim Hinson; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sons, Lawrence Hubert Sinclair and James Kenneth “Jim” Sinclair; sisters, Zada Morris, Verda Sullivan and Mable Ayers; brothers, Ansel Shirley, Ralph Shirley, Homer Shirley and Marvin Shirley; and grandson, Kenny Brown.
