Obituary of Elden Rocky Stewart

ELGIN- A celebration of life service for Elden Rocky Stewart, 51, will be held Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The Rev. Ed Tucker will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5-6 p.m.

     Rocky passed away on September 9, 2023. Born in Beckley, W.V., he was a son of Elden L. and Debra Tucker Stewart. Rocky was a crane operator and a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 470. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing video games, going to concerts, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

     Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Kimberly Stewart; daughter, Kasey Brooke Brovan (Brian) of Columbia; son, Kody Stewart (Lauren) of Elgin; parents, Elden and Debra Stewart; brother, Jesse Stewart; grandchildren, Clara Grace Brovan, Colton Stewart, Noah Brovan; mother and father-in-law, Drema and Charles Cole; a sister-in-law, Bridget Meadows; and nieces, Jennifer Coulter, Kelsey Meadows and McKinzie Cernuto.
