Obituary of Kimberly Diane Koontz

LUGOFF – A service to celebrate the life of Kimberly Diane Koontz, 50, will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Jakes Branch Baptist Church in Pioneer, Tenn. Burial to will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in Cates Cemetery, in Kodak, Tenn.

Mrs. Koontz passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 30, 2023.  Born in Oneida, Tenn., she was the daughter of Dennis Ray Richardson and the late Charlotte Adkins Richardson.  She was a member of Jakes Branch Baptist Church.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles and ATV’s, crafts, quilting, cross stitching, but most of all being a mom and grandmother.

Surviving are her husband of 18 years, Steven Allen Koontz; daughters, Keneshia Cordell of Lugoff and her father, Keith Cordell of Lafollette, Tenn., and Charlotte Koontz of Lugoff; special daughter, LaToshia Carroll (Brandon) of Jacksboro, Tenn.; sister, Darlene Carroll (Benny) of Jacksboro, Tenn.; brother, Jason Richardson (Carol) of Huntsville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Caden Davis and Carter Davis; and many other special nieces, nephews, family and friends.
