Obituary of Rosa Lee Weaver

ELGIN- Mrs. Rosa Lee Weaver, 81, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Born in Elgin, she was a daughter of the late Roosevelt Qualls, Sr. and Allie Mitchell Qualls and the wife of the late Gold Weaver. Mrs. Weaver enjoyed cooking and baking, and taking care of her cat, Tammy.

    Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Roosevelt Qualls, Jr. (Betty) of Elgin, Geraldine Richardson of Elgin, Maria Martin of Elgin, Donell Starks 0f Columbia, Willie Qualls (Loretta) of Elgin; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.  In addition to her husband and parents, Rosa was preceded in death by siblings, Fredonia Richardson , Melita Owens, Sadiara Broome and Leroy Qualls.

    A celebration of life service for Rosa Lee Weaver, 81, will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Elgin Church of God.
