Obituary of Jackie E Howard

Jackie E. Hoover Howard, 48, of Elgin, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023. Born in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of the late Michael Goldner and the late Jeanie Miller Windham, the adopted daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hoover, and the wife of Wade Hampton Brassell, II. Jackie attended Elgin Congregational Holiness Church. She enjoyed crafting and was very creative. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Jackie is survived by her children, Diana Howard (Seth Heckart) and Leon Howard (Jackie Jayne); her step-children, Hannah Brassell and Trey Brassell; 13 grandchildren; and numerous brothers, sisters, family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, officiated by Rev. Warren Morris. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.
