Obituary of John Dale Stevens

 LUGOFF - John Dale Stevens, 60, passed away on December 10, 2023. Born in Chula Vista, California, he was a son of Lois Ribeau Stevens, and the late John Henry Stevens.

    Johnny was a Renaissance man with a contagious zest for life. He believed in living life to its fullest and he did just that. Charismatic, creative and courageous, Johnny made a statement by his mere presence and contagious smile. His passion and drive earned his success in sales, entrepreneurial and personal endeavors. Anyone who knew Johnny knew his absolute love and devotion to his wife, Roxane, and his family who loving referred to him as “Papa John”. Johnny enjoyed watching Formula 1 Racing, Raiders football and was obsessed with The Rollings Stones. Though struck down in his prime, Johnny left an indelible mark on all he touched. He wasn't just the life of the party - he was the party and will be missed terribly by everyone who’s life he touched.

    Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Roxane Clark Stevens; son, Boone Clark Stevens (Djonne) of Fayetteville, GA; daughter, Betsy Amber Johnson (Tim) of Huntersville, N.C.; mother, Lois Stevens of Grants Pass, OR; grandchildren, Brandon Stevens, Jacob Stevens both of Fayetteville, GA; and siblings, Gail Pershing (Russ) of San Dimas, CA; Dana Redmond (Bill) of Grants Pass, OR; and Lori Davies (Steve) of Fullerton, CA; nieces, nephews as well as Sunny and Jade his beloved Golden Retrievers.
