Obituary of Patricia A Johnson

LUGOFF-A funeral service for Patricia A. Johnson, 76, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Greg Sweet will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.

    Mrs. Johnson passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023. Born in South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Grover H. and Julia Murphy Branham. Mrs. Johnson was a member of First Baptist Church, Lugoff. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed being outside, working in the yard, dancing, especially shagging, taking trips to the beach and exercising.  

    Surviving are her husband, Bobby Johnson; sons, Craig Johnson (Carol) of Lugoff, Scott Johnson (Hank) of San Fransico, CA; a daughter Sharon Hatfield (Jeff) of Lugoff; grandchildren, Ashley Johnson, Katie Johnson, Charlotte Matallana, Jeffrey Hatfield; and a brother, Billy Branham (Denise) of Prosperity. She was predeceased by a sister, Linda Faye Branham.
