Obituary of Johnny Haynes, III

William Johnson “Johnny" Haynes, III, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late William “Bill” Johnson Haynes, Jr. and Brenda McCray Haynes. Johnny spent his working life in manufacturing, working for both Shakespeare and DuPont. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and being outdoors. He was also an avid Gamecock fan.  

Surviving is his wife, Tina Moore Haynes; children, William “Billy” Haynes, IV (Kari) of Lugoff, Andrew Haynes (Vickie) of Elgin, Zackary “Zack” Haynes (Faith Nudelman) of Lugoff, Ethan Haynes of Lugoff, Kenny Ray Reep of HI, and Christiana Marie Reep of Lugoff; grandchildren, Crystal Haynes, Elias Haynes, and Lucas Haynes; as well as his sister, Debra Duggan (Jim) of Lugoff.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Crystal Lynn Moore and a brother, Ronnie Haynes.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Johnny Haynes will be private.
