Obituary of LaDean Williams Brinegar

LaDean Williams Brinegar of Lugoff, South Carolina went to her heavenly home on January 15, 2024.  She was born in Lenoir, North Carolina and the daughter of Hugh Pinkney Williams and Ruby Willis Williams.

She had connected with the Lord later in her life but had become a devoted follower.  “We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. (Corinthians 5:8)”

She is survived by her daughter (Michelle Brinegar Krause), two grandchildren (Alexander David and Ryan James Krause) and her sister (Nacy Karen Williams). She will be missed greatly by all.

She was the founder of LaDean Brinegar Realty and a member of Leadership South Carolina 1988 – 1989. She attended Queens College in Charlotte, North Carolina and countless professional and leadership educational classes and forums.

She was a loving grandmother and a dear friend to many. She touched many lives with her unique humor and large personality.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother (Gary Hugh Williams) and her son (Hiram David Brinegar).

“If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. (Romans 14:8)”

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, February 2, 2024 at Powers Funeral Home located at 832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, South Carolina 29078.
