It was my pleasure to get to know COL Mobley through his daughter, Breanna. He had a great sense of humor and was always willing to pitch in to make whatever task that needed to be done lighter for everyone around. Breanna organized tailgate events for Gamecock football games for our law firm several years ago, and W.C. sometimes joined us. He was a loyal fan of the Gamecocks and I learned from our chats what a committed patriot he was and how strong his love was for his family. While I know he will be sorely missed, the family may take great solace in the knowledge that he led a life of service and honor serving his state and nation in many roles as teacher and as a service member of the Air Force. My prayer is that your memories and witness of the Christian life he led and the great contiributions that he made will bring peace of mind to embrace and sustain you during this time of loss. we are sorry to hear about W.C. he was a high school friend. W.C. stepped right in as our quarterback in 1963 and did a great job. I didn't see W.C. much but when I did he talked of family and sports, he is with the Lord today. Butch & Judy King
