Obituary of Jay Thomas Solomon

ELGIN-Jay Thomas Solomon, 46, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. Born in Norfolk, VA, on January 21, 1978, he was the son of Jo Lynn Kaake and James Quinn Solomon. He achieved an electrical contractors license and was a Journeyman, Electrical Lineman, and Master Electrician. He enjoyed sports card collection, RC vehicles, planes, wood working and rockets.

    Left to cherish his memories are his children, Trent Joseph Solomon (Victoria) and Bradyn Tyler Solomon; sister, Jessica Hopkins (Brandon); grandchildren, Carson Adele Solomon; step-father,  Charles R. Kaake; and nieces, Hannah Hopkins, Haley Hopkins and Addison Hopkins.
