Obituary of Ronald Eugene McCammon

LEESBURG, FL – Funeral services for Ronald Eugene McCammon, 63 will be held Friday May 3, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Hardshell Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. McCammon passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Born in Rock Hill, SC, he was a son of the late George Edward McCammon, Sr. and Betty Ann Jones McCammon. Mr. McCammon served in the US Navy. He attended Placid Lakes Baptist Church and was a member of LAMA Club. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger.

Surviving are his wife, Susan J McCammon; a daughter, Amy McGonigle (Eaen) of Lugoff; a son, Kyle McCammon (Hailey) of Camden; siblings, George McCammon, Jr. (Teresa), Sherry Goings (Rick), David McCammon (Liz); and eleven grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, James McCammon.
