Obituary of Catherine Gettys Boykin

LUGOFF- Catherine Gettys Boykin, 77, passed away on March 21, 2024. Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late William Rees Gettys and Alicia Hasell Perrie. Mrs. Boykin, wife of the late Samuel Francis “Frank” Boykin, enjoyed reading and cooking.

     Left to cherish her memory is her nephew, William Rees Gettys III of Lexington. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, William Rees Gettys, Jr.

    Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local animal shelter.
