Obituary of Jeanette Foskey O'Quinn

LUGOFF- A funeral service for Jeanette Foskey O’Quinn, 77, will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Todd Horton will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. O’Quinn passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Born in Wrightsville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Daniel and Mammie Curl Foskey. Mrs. O’Quinn was a member of Sawney’s Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed shopping, camping, working in her flower bed, cooking, and spending time with her family and grandkids.

    Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Harold V. O’Quinn; son, Fred O’Quinn (Kim) of Lugoff; daughters, Brenda Barfield (Greg) of Lugoff, Brittney Crowley (Bob) of Lugoff; brothers, Dan Foskey (Phyllis), Tom Foskey; 9 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Wendy Bratcher; and siblings, Lathy Clements, Nancy Hudson, and Jim Foskey.
