Martha and Tad, Chip and Gabby, There are not enough words to express how saddened I am by Elma's passing, though I know she is at peace with Russ and our Lord. May God now give you all strength at this time to also find your peace in knowing Elma had a full and wonderful life giving so much of herself in teaching and the love of her family and friends. I was a beneficiary by being her friend, and treasure her being in my life. God bless you all.

My family (Marsha and Roy Davis) were fortunate to make memories with the Orton Family in Lewes, de. during my youngest years. I will always remember the kindness, welcoming and loving manner of Elma’s family towards my family. We celebrated wonderful 4th of July parties on the beach in Lewes at their family home. My Mother, Marsha would mentioned dropping down to Evelyn and the Capts Ortons home to see,Elma or her sisters. Mom felt at home when she spent hours with the Orton family.
