Obituary of Kelvin Von Grant

Kelvin Von Grant, 40, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of Willie Joe Grant and the late Linda Louise Shelton Grant. He is an alumnus of Camden High School where he competed and helped win the State Championship for football in 2000. He was a wide receiver for Clemson in 2004.  He was a life long athlete and was known for having a great sense of humor.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Deondre Ransom, Xavier Todd, Kei'aisha Johnson and Aniyah Grant; brothers, James A. Smith (Amanda), Francisco “Sean” Burroughs and; sisters, Nina Jones, Yvonne Gilyard (Michael), Lamaree Adams (Ian) and Cynthia Puge (Ellis); granddaughter, Aurora Ransom; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Services for Mr. Grant will be held at a later date.
