With heart felt sympathy, our condolences to the Stradford family. We, the Carroll family moved to Broad Street in Camden, SC from Rembert, SC (Pisgah Cross Roads Community) 60 years ago. The Stradford family was one of the first neighbors on Broad Street to welcome us to Camden. It takes a village to raise your children. We later met the Taylor, Walker, Drakeford, Ford, Robinson, Payne, Reid, Jones, Provard and Mr. Scott and Mrs. Peola (never knew their last name) families. Ms. Stradford was one of the last matriarchs from our tight-knit Broad Street community. As scripture says, “well done thy good and faithful servant”.
