Obituary of Steven Robert Zumbrunnen

LUGOFF- A time of gathering to celebrate the life of Steven Robert “Robbie” Zumbrunnen, 52, will be held Saturday from 3-5 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

Robbie passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Born in Kershaw County, he was a son of the late Steven J. Zumbrunnen and Juanita Guy Zumbrunnen. Robbie enjoyed watching NASCAR and wrestling, fishing, cheering on his Carolina Gamecocks and Georgia Bulldogs, and spending time with friends and family.

Surviving are his son, Steven Collins of GA; stepmother, Janice Zumbrunnen of Lugoff; siblings, Michelle Taylor (Isaac) of Beaufort, Scott Christmas (Karen) of Columbia; nieces, Beth Cline, Summer Rasberry, Kaylee Boone; and great-nephews, Sebastian and J.J. Cline. He was predeceased by a nephew, Jeremy Jones.

The family would like to thank Robin Alberson and Robbie’s “brother from another mother,” Ben Rosario for their kindness and friendship.
