Obituary of Vionia Comignaghi
Camden- Vionia Comignaghi formerly of Bloomingdale, Georgia, the beloved wife of the late Robert Eugene Comignaghi, joined her loved ones in heaven on Monday, October 7, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Vionia was born in Lumberton, NC, and was the third of five children to the late LeRoy and Essie Oxendine. She was married to the love of her life, Robert, for 60 years before his passing in 2013. She was a member of Trinity Church and attended Bloomingdale Fellowship.
She will be remembered for her leadership in both her family and her community, her unwavering love for the Lord, and her positive outlook on life.
She is survived by her three daughters, Debra Jo Breucker (Barry) of the Colony, TX, Penny Holland of Pooler, GA, and Anne Brannen (Bill) of Camden, SC; grandchildren, Kristina (Steve), Jessica, Kendra (Jared), Bobby (Christy), and Michael (Kelli); great-grandchildren, Conner and Austin; sister, Margaret Brantley; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Vionia was predeceased by her brother, Roy; and sisters, Snow and Edna.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Colonial at Old Camden, Agape Hospice and Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation for the love and care they provided to their Mother.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 2:00 pm in Westside Memorial Gardens in Bloomingdale, GA.
