Obituary of Frances Victoria Williamson Radvansky

Frances Victoria Williamson Radvansky, age 84, passed from this life peacefully in her home on December 26, 2024, surrounded by the warmth of her loved ones. Born on September 15, 1940, in South Port, North Carolina, she was the youngest daughter of the late Matthew and Effie Bennett Williamson.

Frances enduring marriage of 64 years to her beloved husband, Robert, was a partnership of deep love and unwavering faith. Together, they raised four sons and one daughter with many adventures across the world.

Throughout her remarkable life, Frances exemplified grace, faith, and devotion, serving as a steadfast member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for over 65 years, with a heart committed to sharing the gospel across the globe. Frances and Robert embarked on five missions for the Church, dedicating their hearts and hands to service.

As a Seminary teacher for more than nine years, Frances nurtured and guided the spiritual growth of youth, forming lifelong bonds with many who continued to seek her wisdom and friendship long after her teaching days. She also devoted ten years as a kindergarten teacher’s assistant, where her care and patience left a lasting imprint on the lives of her young students and their families.

Frances embraced every opportunity to uplift and inspire others, through many various church callings: Primary song leader, Primary and Relief Society President, Cub Scout leader and many others. Those she taught and served with grew to love her deeply, many maintaining treasured relationships with her throughout her life.

There was no greater fan of the Girls Gamecock Basketball than Frances. She cheered them on with enthusiasm and pride even to the very end.

Above all, Frances found her greatest joy in her roles as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her immense legacy of love was rooted in her unwavering desire to bring others closer to Jesus Christ through her example and teachings.

Frances leaves behind her cherished children: Robert Radvansky (Lisa) of Lugoff, Jeff Radvansky of Lugoff, Kim Pando (Jaime) of Myrtle Beach, Craig Radvansky (Patty) of Lugoff, and Scott Radvansky (Anna) of West Palm Beach, FL. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren: Megan, Denis, Dawn, Gabriel, Sean, Lauren, Chelsea, Ashlee, Stephanie, Rachael, Brittany, Austin, Landon, Laken, and Cade; 20 great-grandchildren; and her beloved siblings, Hubert Williamson (Mary Louise) and Virginia Stalvey (Leroy).

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert; her dear siblings, Carolyn, Margaret, Maggie Neal, and Leamon; and her precious grandson, Chad.
