Darrel was one of those super awesome people that you never forget. From high school to The Cookie Jar, always had a smile. We lost a great man, but heaven gained a super angel.
Anna and Erin, I'm writing to you here and will send a card to Wanda. I want you to know how special your family has been to me over the years. I watched you grow up and have always loved you dearly. Your Mama and Daddy were such strong supporters when I served at St. John UMC. Your grandparents too. I have loved being able to keep track of you via Facebook. I am so proud of the young women you have become. I don't have to tell you how very special both of your parents were. I loved your mother so much. It has always brought me joy when I have run into your Daddy over the years. He always made me feel loved and valued. I just want you both to know what a blessing it has been to know and love the Cooke family. I will continue to lift you up in prayer as well as your families. May you feel the very brush of angel's wings as they surround you. I truly love you! Rhonda
This “young man” was one of the best of the best! He held a special place in my heart. He will be missed.
Wanda, Sandra, Billy, all the family you’re in my thoughts, my Prayers and Love.
Blessings to you all !
Mr Cooke and Me would stand around after getting off driving the bus and talk about Clemson and grandchildren whom he adored. He was a wonderful person and a good coworker. I will never forget his smile.
