LUGOFF – A memorial service for Janet B. Rogers, 67, will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Walter M. Crowe Animal Shelter, 460 Fair Street, Camden, S.C. 29020. Ms. Rogers passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014. Born in Lancaster, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert Alexander and Mildred Lucille Cole Blackmon. She loved people and caring for animals. Surviving are her brother, Robert S. Blackmon of Carnelian Bay, Calif.; and brother-in-law, Bruce D. MacLean. She was predeceased by a sister, Lynda MacLean.
