BETHUNE – Funeral service for Nora Ernestine Lollis Drew, 69, will be held on Monday at 4:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial and graveside to follow in Bethune Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Craig Thompson will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Bethune Baptist Church or Malvern Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Drew passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014. Born in Whitmire, S.C., she was the daughter of the late John Herbert and Clarice Tremble Lollis. She retired from Cal-Maine in Bethune. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family. She enjoyed cooking, canning, and working cross word puzzles. Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Jack E. Drew; daughters, Martha Drew Horton (Randy) of Bethune, Nora Drew Hinson (Mark) of Bethune and Patricia Drew Corbett (James) of Bethune; son, Jackie E. Drew, Jr. (Trina) of Bethune; sisters, Betty Jean Conrad and Shirley Seegars; brother, John Lollis; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy Metts and Sue Lollis.
