We were a young couple with two small boys and the Rhodus family lived next door. Mrs. Rhodus loved Gregg and Jason as if they were her own. I don't know how it started, but they only knew her as Me-ma and they loved her as well. The boys would sneak off sometime and go in her house for a snack. Me-ma was concerned when they did because at one time her kids had a rooster in the back yard and I don't think he was too friendly to little ones. Her smile and loving way will be missed by those who took time to know her.
