ELGIN- A visitation for Cheryl Jane Newton-Boyer, 70, will be held Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff. Mrs. Newton-Boyer passed away January 8, 2015. Born in Land Between The Lakes, KY, she was a daughter of the late Ellis C. and Frances Irene Duncan Newton. She enjoyed Christmas and decorating for Christmas. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Carlos Edward Boyer; children, Joey Glliam, Bill Glliam (Marie), Crystal Travis (Glen); a step-son, Larry Boyer; siblings, Patricia Hosick, Leon Newton, Norma Kirksey; 10 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Todd Glliam; and siblings, John, Steve, Sid, and Richard Newton.
