COLUBMIA – A service to celebrate the life of Arthur Franklin Segear, Jr., 55, will be held on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Riverland Hills Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Mr. Segear passed away on Wednesday Morning, January 28, 2015 at Palmetto Health Richland. Born in Chester, Pa., he was the son of Arthur Franklin Segear Sr. and the late Gloria Marie Sepcy Segear. He was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church and served the community faithfully for over 20 years as the owner/operator of Express Appliance. He also enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Sonya Marie Dillingham Segear; his father, Arthur of Cecilton, Md.; children, Jason Segear (Melissa) of Lugoff, Christopher Segear (Jessica) of Rock Hill, Tiffany Golden (Andrew) of Florence, Kayla Hanvey (Christopher) of Columbia, Blake Segear of Columbia, and Savannah Segear of Columbia; brother, Bruce Segear (Laura); sisters, Sharon Launius and Julie Hearn; and 6 grandchildren.
